3x Thursday: Lots of things annoy us. Pick 3 things that annoy you and tell us why!
- Whiny kids. I’m a pretty patient person, but one thing I have absolutely no patience for is whining. Since they could talk my kids know better than to whine. And when they whine they’ve given two chances to shape up and speak properly. If they don’t, it’s off to time-out they go!
- Making a phone call. Specifically, making a phone call when the kids are around. They could spend two hours playing with each other, in their bedrooms, etc., but the minute I pick up the phone and dial a number, they’re in my faces, chattering a mile a minute, suddenly needing this, that, and the other thing. Ugh! Am I the only one whose kids are like this, or is this a fairly common kid thing?
- My son’s afternoon bus driver. She is seriously the most impatient woman I have ever met. If she sits in front of our house for longer than 0.5 seconds she lays on the horn. Damn woman, give me a chance to open the door and shoo the dog away! I’m coming!
