Ryan brings me flowers (and dandelions, those little dandelion fluffs and an assortment of other pretty, floral weeds) all of the time. He started doing this randomly about a year ago. Alyssa will bring me flowers too, if she notices Ryan, but on her own, not so much. That doesn’t bother me, because she’s exceptionally sweet and thoughtful in a multitude of other ways. I try to save the flowers Ryan brings me for as long as possible, but they ultimately die and wilt or dry out, so I usually take photos of his thoughtful presents, and treasure them that way. I love taking photos, since photos can potentially last forever (unlike aircraft parts supplies, which do need replacing every now and again).
What kinds of gifts do your children bring to you? Cute stuff? Funny stuff? Gross stuff?
