That’s My Answer: Do you grind your own pepper? Do you have a preference as to what pepper you use?
Yes, I grind my own pepper, if the pretentious pepper mill grinder (to match the salt grinder) that I bought for Dan a few years ago counts. For a while finding whole peppercorns to fill it with was a pain, but then, HUZZAH!, Target started carrying large bottles of the stuff in their baking & spices section. We keep containers of Salt Sense and regular ground pepper around for cooking and large-scale seasoning, though – those whole peppercorns and coarse salt refills aren’t cheap!
