About me
My name is Jenn. I’m 28 years old, and I am married and quite obviously a mother. My husband and I have been together for nearly thirteen years, have been married for the last eight years, and we have two children, Alyssa and Ryan. Alyssa is eight years old and in second grade, charming, fiercely independent and already showing that she is quite opinionated and strong-willed (to quote her kindergarten teacher). Ryan is six years old and in first grade. He is incredibly sweet and expressive, with quite the stubborn streak (I subscribe to the opinion that he inherited that from his father). He is also autistic, which I feel is worth mentioning because a lot of his issues related to autism dominate our family. (They also wear me out emotionally and sometimes physically, but I digress.)
I work from home as a full-time freelance writer and part-time web designer, and I also maintain several other blogs in addition to this one (the list is available in the left sidebar), including my personal blog, Jenn.nu, and my product review blog, In My Bag.
I also run an awesome message board, Lavish.
About Mamahood.org
History
Mamahood.org was registered in September of 2006 with GoDaddy, and was hosted with E-Starr. At its conception Mamahood.org was a parenting message board. Over the months it morphed into a blog about parenthood – specifically from and about a mother’s perspective and issues, with the message board moving to a subdomain.
Currently
I have transformed Mamahood.org into a parenting blog. I have a personal blog, Jenn.nu, but it’s nice to have an outlet just for everything relating to parenting. The domain is now hosted with Surpass.
