(I’m doing an older one because I don’t like this week’s theme)

Summer is pretty much over as far as I’m concerned (especially because of the temperature dropping), but here is a generalized list of things I like to do before summer ends:

Make at least one trip to an amusement park (I went to one twice this year, yay!)

Get to the shore at least once (I also got to the shore twice this year, yay!)

Go swimming

Go mini-golfing at dusk

Eat ice cream or water ice outdoors (thanks Jason!)

Walk barefoot in the grass

Wear outrageously bright nail polish (I do this year round though haha)

Hmm, I can’t say that I have! The only big thing I have really done lately is see movies!

How to Train Your Dragon

I may be taking Ryan to a Yo Gabba Gabba live performance this coming fall — so if this particular question comes up again, I’ll have a better answer!

3x Thursday: Lots of things annoy us. Pick 3 things that annoy you and tell us why!

Whiny kids. I’m a pretty patient person, but one thing I have absolutely no patience for is whining. Since they could talk my kids know better than to whine. And when they whine they’ve given two chances to shape up and speak properly. If they don’t, it’s off to time-out they go!

Making a phone call. Specifically, making a phone call when the kids are around. They could spend two hours playing with each other, in their bedrooms, etc., but the minute I pick up the phone and dial a number, they’re in my faces, chattering a mile a minute, suddenly needing this, that, and the other thing. Ugh! Am I the only one whose kids are like this, or is this a fairly common kid thing?

My son’s afternoon bus driver. She is seriously the most impatient woman I have ever met. If she sits in front of our house for longer than 0.5 seconds she lays on the horn. Damn woman, give me a chance to open the door and shoo the dog away! I’m coming!

List five vices you have, with a description if you want to.

Tag five bloggers for this meme.

Link back to the blogger who tagged you, and this post if you want to be nice!

1. Shopping
A few months ago I realized that I love to shop. I never used to be like this. But geez. I can have $200 to spend on household supplies or $300 for groceries; either way, I am HAPPY and EXCITED to go shopping!

2. Skin picking
Ugh. It sounds gross, but I swear I do it privately. If I feel any bit of loose skin on my upper or lower lip, I have to pick at it until it’s gone. I think I broke myself of my nail biting habit by doing this instead. :/ (Great: apparently this is an OCD behavior!)

3. Internet
Oh internet, where would I be without you? Nearly hobbyless and most certainly jobless! I love to blog. I also keep in touch with friends and family through the internet. But most importantly, my income comes directly from the internet, and my ability to be on it and contribute to it.

4. Cell phone
I heart my T-Mobile Dash. It goes everywhere I do. I use it to keep in touch with family and friends, as well as check email.

5. Camera
I am really getting into photography. I take photos with my Nikon D40x almost every single day. Check out my Flickr account!

I’m tagging… anyone that wants to do this!

Found at wordslave.org
